Literary Focus Camp Harmony

Sone says camp "was hopefully called Camp Harmony". Do you think the name is appropriate, or is it ironic? Support your answer with the evidence from the text?

I think it is ironic if the camp was called Camp Harmony. Why?, because it is more like a Prision for whoever is Japanese. People in jail get bad food, they don't have freedom, their were fences so pple cannot escape from the camp. I think instead of calling it Camp Harmony, we should call it "Hopeless Camp"

Final Essay semester 1

Mixed Economy is the best
Have you ever live in a mixed economy? Or did you know anything about it? Probably yes, because most country is mixed economy. Where you can be more creative and have more freedom in business but you’re still in control by the government. Mixed economy people have freedom to be more creative, to make more products in business. And there are no classes in mixed economy, no rich or poor people are divided. Mixed economy is the best for people, because it has both freedom and it treated people equally.
First, mixed economy work well because they allow people to have freedom. If people have more freedom in business, they can be more creative so they can create a lot of product for consumer in and outside country. If they sell many products, the gross domestic product (GDP) of the country will increase a lot, meaning they can increase how much many people can make per year in the country. After the death of Mao ZeDong, instead the government controls everything, Deng XiaoPing, took place of Mao ZeDong, and gives people a little freedom. And that gives China a very big different about the GDP. The GDP went from 25 billion dollars to 200 billion dollars for only 10 years or less. Give people more freedom will make people be more active, more creative in their business, if people have more freedom, they can create many high tech, expensive product, which will increase the GDP of China. Imagine if people was force to sell whatever things that the government tell them to, the GDP will stay the same for a long time. It maybe will drop too, because consumers want new stuff amd new products, not just the same thing everyday. If China have a lot of money, China will be a lot more powerful, and it is now comparing to the Mao ZeDong times. So freedom makes mixed economy work well for a lot of countries in the world, like US, Vietnam, etc.
Not like market economy, when people have too much freedom that they become greedy, and people divided into classes, from rich to poor. Mixed economy treated everyone equally. Like in the Mao ZeDong times, he is the leader of China, and the communist party, he believe that everyone should be treated equally, everyone will have the same money, same land, nobody is rich or poor, etc. If everyone is treated equally, every person will live benefit each other, meaning they would live together, help each other to build the country to be better, no war, especially no civil war, and the most important thing, no slavery. Treated people equally are part of the command economy. Not like market economy, where there are few people who are very rich,  but there are many people who are very poor, being treated equal is like teamwork, people will come together, do the same thing to build the country to be stronger. Some mixed economy now treats people equally, and those countries are in a very good shape right now, like the US after the slavery time.
Out of Command, Market, Mixed, Traditional economy, living it a mixed economy country may be the best way to live. It gives freedom to people, if people have more freedom, they can work and get more money, cause to increase the GDP of the country. Also the government in mixed economy treated people equally, everyone has the same thing, land, money, etc., if people are treated equal, they wil work together, no slave, no civil war. Mixed economy is a balance between Market and Command economy.
