Answering "Flowers for Algernon"

#6
The phrase “to pull a Charlie Gordon” in the story “Flowers for Algernon” means to have a prank. in Charlie Gordon. In the story, when Charlie was dancing to Ellen, then everyone was laughing at Charlie because of Joe and Frank making fun of Charlie. So Joe and Frank “pull a Charlie Gordon”.  So the short way to explain it is just to tease , make fun of somebody

  2. Kind of Peter. It is more an insult than a prank though. It is a way for others to compare their mistakes to Charlie's low mental ability.
